Welcome to EBTN

The one stop place to find out what works in education

Welcome! Come on in and make yourself at home.

We’re all about evidence-based teaching here. We’ve sifted through loads of research and focused on five main sources of evidence. We’ve combined this with findings from neuroscience to come up with our Six Steps to Outstanding Learning.

EBTN is for everyone in the teaching profession. It’s relevant right from Early Years, through primary, secondary, and up to FE colleges, and it’s helpful for all subjects, genders, races, and environments.

There’s tons of info and suggestions here on how to apply our Six Steps. We hope that you’ll find it really helpful and that it’ll equip you to teach your students even more effectively!
